Budget-friendly hostel with great amenities, including bookshelves in the lounge area. Cozy community space for meeting fellow travelers. Multiple language-speaking staff who provide excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries. Convenient location near Nakasukawabata Station and plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. Don't miss out on the Yatai along the river.

I recently stayed at Webase Hakata for 5 nights and had an amazing time. The staff was welcoming and one member spoke fluent English. The hostel's concept was cool, with a bar on the first floor where you trade cash for chips worth 250 Yen. The food and drinks were delicious and affordable. The hostel's location was convenient, close to the subway and within walking distance of popular areas like Nakasu and Tenjin. The hangout lounge on the 9th floor was cozy, and the showers were well-designed and clean.
Would highly recommend this hostel.

The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and spoke some English. the accommodation was well-designed and felt luxurious for a hostel. There were amenities like hairdryers and shampoo provided, and they even let us borrow a plug socket for a deposit. the location was close to a train station and convenient with nearby convenience stores.
We felt extremely welcome and had no complaints whatsoever.

The bunk bed was comfortable and had its own light and electrical outlet. the curtain provided privacy, and there were hangers and a mini shelf for convenience. the spacious lounge/library/kitchen area was perfect for relaxing, eating, and planning our itinerary. the kitchen had a refrigerator, microwave, and utensils for light cooking. the property was clean and quiet, and the luggage storage room was secure with lockable shelves.
The shower was only on the 2nd floor, which meant waiting for the elevator to go down from the higher floors. the location was slightly out of the way, about a 15-minute walk from the main station.

The location of the hostel was perfect, with a lot of key attractions within walking distance. the common area had a unique sense of style, with a beautiful view and a big space cat that added a fun touch. the lounge area was also very enjoyable, with lots of books and relaxing music. It was a great place to hang out and unwind after a busy day.
One slight inconvenience was that the showers were on a separate floor from the rooms, but it wasn't a major issue. Another downside was that there were no windows in the rooms, which made it feel a bit closed off.

The staff at this hostel were amazing! They were so friendly and always willing to help. The cleanliness of the entire place was top-notch, with constant cleaning and maintenance. The location was also really convenient, just a short walk from the train station and with plenty of convenience stores nearby. Plus, the lounge area on the top floor was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
That there was only one elevator, which sometimes meant a bit of a wait. , the lockers provided were a bit small, making it a challenge to store larger items.

My stay at Webase Hakata was fantastic. The location was perfect, with easy access to the subway and only two stops away from Hakata station. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, making it convenient to enjoy delicious food. The hostel itself was clean and well-decorated, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I will definitely choose Webase Hakata again when I visit Fukuoka.
One small drawback was that the bunk beds were on one floor, while the showers were on another floor. This meant having to go up and down stairs to use the facilities.

The hostel’s location is ideal, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to the center and popular yatai stands. the common areas, such as the lounge on the top floor, offer a comfortable and convenient space with a well-equipped kitchen and library. the shared toilets and showers are consistently clean and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience.
The beds and pillows tend to be on the hard side, which may not suit everyone's preference for a softer sleep experience.

The wifi connection in some rooms may be weak.
